Yes, you can absolutely study the IB programme in Denmark. There’s 4 schools offering the Primary Years Programme, 4 schools offering the Middle Years Programme and 16 schools offering the Diploma Programme.

Primary Years Programme

The Primary Years Programme can be studied at the following four schools:

  • Aarhus Academy for Global Education (Aarhus, Region Nordjylland)
  • Copenhagen International School (Copenhagen, Region Hovedstaden)
  • International School of Hellerup (Hellerup, Region Hovedstaden)
  • The International School of Billund (Billund, Region Syddanmark)

Since these schools are private schools, education is not free. You can find tuition fees for each of the schools on their respective websites.

Middle Years Programme

The Middle Years Programme is offered by the following 4 schools:

  • Aarhus Academy for Global Education (Aarhus, Region Nordjylland)
  • Copenhagen International School (Copenhagen, Region Hovedstaden)
  • International School of Hellerup (Hellerup, Region Hovedstaden)
  • The International School of Billund (Billund, Region Syddanmark)

The Middle Years Programme is only offered at the same 4 private schools, and tuition is therefore not free. Current tuition fees can be found on their website. The tuition fees for 2018/2019 can be found below as an indication of price.
